Automatic Feeding Mode
The Automatic Feeding Mode enables large volumes of documents to be scanned continuously. In addition, this mode allows you to scan documents of different sizes in one go without needing to arrange them by size and saving them as a single PDF.
Automatic Size Recognition
Place documents of different sizes of up to A4 in the middle of the feeding tray and the ES-580W will automatically detect and scan everything in the correct size, all in a single batch.
Wireless Connectivity
The ES-580W allows devices to connect directly via Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi A/P (802.11b/g/n).
Wi-Fi A/P
The ES-580W will act as an access point once this mode is turned on, allowing mobile devices to connect directly to the scanner without the need for a router.
Versatile Scan-To Function
The ES-580W allows users to scan directly to USB memory stick, and send scanned documents directly to network folder, email, Cloud or mobile devices via Wi-Fi, without the use of PC.
Scan-to USB Memory
Save your scanned documents directly to USB Flash Drives. The ES-580W allows users to plug in Flash Drives* of various sizes for maximum portability.

Epson Smart Panel
Download the Epson Smart Panel app onto their mobile device to access to the ES-580W, allowing you to perform functions such as scan, save and share documents wirelessly using your mobile device.
Paper Protection Function
Upon detection of abnormal paper feeding or stapled/ folded paper, the ES-580W will automatically stop scanning operation to prevent damage to important documents. Ultrasonic Double Feed Detection to enhance both feeding and scanning reliability.
Image Sensor Glass Dirt Detection
A notification will be sent upon detection of dirt in three areas before scanning. This reduces the risk of re-scanning due to bad image quality, improves the Scan-to workflow and increases business productivity.
