The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP 5800dn prints black-and-white and colour documents at speeds of up to 45 pages per minute. Its fast performance makes it suitable for reports, proposals, presentations, marketing materials, forms, and other high-volume business documents.
Print resolution up to 1200 × 1200 dpi helps produce sharp text, detailed graphics, fine lines, and professional-quality colour output. Automatic duplex printing allows users to create two-sided documents while reducing paper consumption.
High-Speed Scanning
The 100-sheet Automatic Document Feeder supports fast, multi-page document processing. Duplex scanning speeds of up to 100 images per minute help workgroups digitise large batches of business documents more efficiently.
Documents can be scanned to email, network folders, USB storage, job storage, and supported digital workflow applications. Supported file formats include PDF, high-compression PDF, PDF/A, JPEG, TIFF, MTIFF, and XPS.
Advanced Copying
The copying function supports up to 9,999 copies in a single job, with reduction and enlargement settings from 25% to 400%.
Available copy features include ID Copy, booklet creation, job building, collation, two-sided copying, N-up copying, edge erase, image adjustment, preview, watermarks, stamps, automatic straightening, and automatic colour or monochrome detection.
Optional Fax Capability
Fax is not included as a standard built-in function on the 5800dn. Businesses that require faxing can add a compatible optional analog fax accessory.
When the optional accessory is installed, supported features include fax forwarding, automatic fax reduction, junk-fax blocking, and transmission speeds of approximately three seconds per page.
Flexible Paper Handling
Standard paper handling includes a 100-sheet multipurpose tray and a 550-sheet input tray, providing a total standard input capacity of up to 650 sheets. The standard output capacity is up to 250 sheets.
Additional optional trays can increase the paper capacity for larger workgroups and higher-volume printing requirements. The printer supports plain, recycled, bond, heavy, glossy, cardstock, label, transparency, letterhead, envelope, preprinted, prepunched, and user-defined media.
Touchscreen and Digital Workflows
The adjustable 8-inch colour touchscreen provides a familiar, tablet-style interface for accessing print, scan, copy, and workflow functions.
